Artist's Comments
This is the corset design I settled on submitting for the Fredricks of Hollywood and Brickfish scholarship contest.
The lighter blue area on either side of the deep blue is actually baby blue silk under silver chainmail. The deep blue is also silk of a somewhat thicker quality with silver embroidery (the patter is repeated on the back I just got lazy). The sash around the middle was going to be a full blown Obi sash but then I decided to not have an Obi rather two sashes that have silver embroidery that mirrors the other on either side and then have them twisted around the middle of the corset in order to hide the corset string bow so it wont come undone. Very complex. Hope you enjoy it ^_^ Oh if you want to create this. Contact me first... Because I like to know when my designs are used and this is copywrited. |
